CubeRover is a 2 kg rover meant to “do science” on the moon. It was designed to make extraterrestrial surface operations more accessible and it was developed by Carnegie Mellon University with Astrobotic as part of a NASA SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) contract. In this project I was in charge of the design, mobility analysis and test of the first prototype. The mobility analysis included a completely representation of the lunar terramechanics.
